The Company

In 2003, Rogue Valley Microdevices opened their doors and became the first and only microelectronics manufacturing facility in Southern Oregon. Since then they have grown to over three times their original size and become an active participant in the local business community.

With a combined history of over 30 years experience in the semiconductor industry, founders Jessica Gomez and Patrick Kayatta provide the knowledge, experience and vision necessary to lead Rogue Valley Microdevices on their path to continual yet sustainable growth.

Founders

Jessica L. Gomez - Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Jessica entered the Semiconductor Manufacturing field in 1998 at Standard Microsystems Corporation of Hauppauge New York where she acquired valuable knowledge in both semiconductor processing and production management. Jessica has held positions at Integrated Micromachines and Xponent Photonics prior to founding Rogue Valley Microdevices in 2003. As Founder and CEO, Jessica has established the company as a world-class supplier of Thin Film Services.

Patrick T. Kayatta - Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Patrick's Semiconductor career began in 1984 at Standard Microsystems Corporation of Hauppauge, New York where he gained extensive experience in semiconductor devices fabrication and process design. He has held Engineering management positions at Standard MEMS and Integrated Micromachines prior to Rogue Valley Microdevices. As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Pat has used his extensive process engineering background to transform Rogue Valley Microdevices into one of the industries most well respected Thin Film Foundries.
